Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member, Bobby Braddock, along with co-writer Troy Jones, have a #1 hit with “People Are Crazy” recorded by Billy Currington.    The songwriter’s celebrated the chart-topping collaboration with Billy at a party hosted by BMI.

Four Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Members have been nominated in the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards:

Mac McAnally Mac McAnally is nominated in the “Best Country Collaboration withVocals” category for “Down the Road“(with Kenny Chesney).

Bobby Braddock Bobby Braddock , is nominated in the “Best Country Song”category for “People are Crazy,’” his thirteenth number one song.

Willie Nelson Two Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Members are nominated in the    new  “Best Americana Album” category:  Winner Willie Nelson , for Willie And TheWheel (with Asleep At The Wheel) and Bob Dylan for Together Through Life.  

Congratulations to all the nominees!

The Grammy Awards will be televised on CBS, January 31, 2010.
